Over the years I've had a lot of FUN in the Sun, imaging in hydrogen alpha. Sometimes the active regions and features were so spectacular that processing an image was well worth the effort. In the case of the 2012 Venus Transit, well, there is a great story behind that. Getting to the imaging location was one thing. We lucked out and grabbed a piece of history! The next Venus Transit will occur on December 11, 2117. So the shot below is a treasure. PLEASE check back often as I plan to add more photos to this page.
